Corrupted data! NOOOOOOO!

I tried to play Castlevania DXC on my psp today, data wouldn't load cause its "corrupt". So I put in FFVII CC, same thing happens.  Now I'm contemplating downloading save files for the games, but all the files I find are like 100% complete crap, level 99, all items, all weapons, etc. =/ This sucks.

Dude that happened to me a long time ago with my PS2, like half the stuff on my mem card went corrupt. Years of data and progress lost. I was so pissed. I started backing stuff up on a seperate mem card, but there was no guarentee that one wouldn't go corrupt either. Don't know why, but the memory save cards and sticks that even the brand name company's put out for consoles and handhelds are very low quality. Makes ya feel real special as a loyal consumer doesn't it?

Yeah, it used to happen to my PS2, but only with Namco games (Tekken 4/5, Soulcalibur 2/3). Weird thing is, my other psp save files are fine (I think). I check Wild ARMs XF, it was ok. Havn't tried my other games.

Well, I can't say about the PS2, but my PS1 memory cards have given me little trouble. I'd be pissed of my FFT save was erased.

Yeah, it's happened to me too with my PS1 mem card. Luckily it only had one save on it.

it happens when you put the memcards in there ruff and eventually you have to jiggle it around to get it to read. then during saving u may bump it and it may move and you may have to jiggle it around again. but if that happens while saving....it will go corrupt cuz youre not supposed to remove the card while saving. happened twice to me on ff4 and ffx2.
