changing character select screen

I didn't see it in help so, I'll ask.

I have seen where you can change the char. select screen from a bunch of images to a menu list with sub sections (ex. Capcom - Akuma, Chun-Li, Mega-Man; SNK - Andy, Blue Mary, Haohmaru, Terry; etc.)


I have EVE, so how would I go into doing this?

If you download mugen from scratch, then install the EVE screen pack as found on Mugen Infantry, then it should be that way by default with the menu system. If you downloaded Mugen allready full of characters (like from a torrent or such) then you're probably out of luck, you'll just have to reinstall the EVE screen pack that includes extra sub-folders in the data folder to help you switch between the two options. Either way, eveytime to mess with you screenpack you have to either re-type your select.def or properly copy and paste from the old one to the new one.

Big mugen mistake: accidentally copying a blank select.def over your completed select.def after you added a bunch of character to your mugen.
