i cant seem to get it right!!

hey ya'll, i need some help. i'm a noob and not much experiance.
my character i'm working on will not upload onto my mugen.
Error message: cant open file
Error in Atomic
Error loading char/atomic guy/atomic guy.def
Error loading p1
what do i do to fix this? my second issue is with making a shock move (like blankas ). i have the sprites, but i dont know how to program them into my character. what do i do? thirdly, does anyone know how to do grapple moves? i havent the foggest idea where to start. thanks for any help.

Did you type the atomic guy.def or atomic guy in the select.def?

i typed atomic guy in the select. when i go to pick him, it goes through the motions untill the fight. then it gives me an error.

Check to see if the files are located in the right directory.

this might sound dumb, but what do you mean? there under the char file and it has all the other data in the folder. could you please explain?

Check the character's .def file to see if the files are in the right areas.

Are you using the same name for both the character's folder and the def file.

Example"
folders name= ryu
name on the def. = ryu

If you dont have the same name for those 2 then its not going to load in mugen.

i finally got it right. thanks for all the help, guys 
does anyone know how to creat a "tackle" type move? i'm working on a move like the cannon drill. thanks.
