I'm quite curious as to how everyone here, especially the MUGEN contributors and creators, handles any stress and frustrations that they come across in the world of MUGEN, whether it be fixing mistakes that takes forever, making sprites/stages from scratch, or even people themselves.

Reason I'm asking this is because I don't know how MUGEN creators manage to keep sane when doing what they do half the time. I've been working a couple days so far making a sprite from scratch, and still aren't satisfied with how it's going right now (which I may ask someone to touch up on....). I was wondering what do YOU guys do to keep yourselves from getting frustrated?

I guess for me, having music on while doing it helps, and playing Brawl in-between breaks as well......then again, I usually don't stop until I get what I'm working on done so...yeeeah....

Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say here. ^^

Well for me, I only make music and it was very stressful remixing the whole MVC2 soundtrack and Rockman 1-6 including Rockman World 5...currently working on Rockman 7 and personal ablums.  Copyrighting can also be a pain too and hoping that no one steals your music online.  I usually preform spiritual Bikram Yoga or traditional Yogesh Yoga to take my mind elsewhere.
Its Touchin', Isn't It.

Yup, I usually do something else for a small bit and then return to it when my spriting has gotten a tad frustrating. I'll go listen to music, watch a video, read a book, take a walk, write a fanfic or sketch. Then, once I go back, I'm refreshed and usually can figure out the problem I was having.

Every once and awhile too... I do something else Mugen-related when I'm frustrated with one project. Remember Giro-san? He was born from the frustration of DekaMaster spriting... ;*))

I actually listen to music *while* I sprite as well. :p

Well for me I just go out and vent my frustration to my dad. Or I go and smoke a cig. Mugen creating is very stressful for me because im still really new. I have alot of fun with it tho. Spriting tho is another ball game, I loved spriting that one kanji sprite I shared but I dont love it enough to keep doing it for more then 30 minutes to an hour.

I never really had any bad problems when I created stages.

I do remember when I lost a ton of stuff in runescape I would stay off a few days and I would listen to my ipod to calm me down.

I guess I'm one of the few. @^@
