Everything is just cool. Got Live Messenger 8.1, so I'm fine with that. Just installed Soulseek and eMule and everything's just cool, and I'm FINALLY playing NFS Carbon! Had to do some tweaking because of Vista's extra RAM consumption, but everything's O.K. - just beat Kenji's Bushido.

Later I'm installing my gamepad's driver, and tomorrow I'll get my DVD Iso files here from the other computer to be burned in a later time.

Nice man I just got done installing Windows Vista Ultimate. Its running beautifully on my system. Im gonna start installing games tomarrow. Im also getting up the money to redo my whole computer. Im gonna make a topic tomarrow about it so that i can get help figuring out how much im gonna spend on it. and the best parts for what i wanna do. Well good job on getting that laptop m8. I have only one game installed right now: NFS Carbon - I beat Angie today and had already beaten Kenji on tuesday.

I however don't know why it's running a little bit slow, even with lowest graphic settings, maybe it's Vista extra consumption?

Processor: 1.83 Ghz (Carbon needs 1.7 Ghz)
RAM: 2 GB (Carbon needs 512 MB)
Graphics Card: Intel GMA X3100 (Even NFS Prostreet works fine there, according to a Youtube vid)
O.S.: Windows Vista Home Premium Edition.

Really Vista=not good...i recommend you to try to go back to XP while you can...
It`s too flashy and the interface is totally different,i have a friend that has a new pc with vista and i hate it...i don`t even have a "My PC" link on desktop...
