Extending lenght of time in a win
« on: May 16, 2008, 10:02:25 AM »
Ive coded this before, but I'm drawing a blank, and before I spend hours re-figuring it out. I wondered if some one could help.

Right now my win cuts off before the audio clip finishes, Im just trying to remember how to extend the time before he gets kicked off screen.

You will have to use an assertspecial....flag, roundnotover.....and use as a trigger time or something to avoid making the winpose an infinite time

I encountered this the first time when I made Giro-san. For reference, here's how my assert special ended up looking:

[State 181, a]
type = AssertSpecial
trigger1 = time >= 0
trigger1 = time <=160 ; Time when state's over
flag = RoundNotOver

No problem. :) Just remember to adjust the second time value for as long or short as you need it to be. ;)

Matsutzu, you could  remevoe the rtigger1 = time >=0....because with the second trigger you are using again the same values, when the time is less that 160, its from 0 to 160, so you are using 2 times the same thing

Lol, oopsie! Thank you for pointing that out, Fallen-Angel. Whenever I update Giro-san, I'll be sure to remove that line (and keep it out of any future creations). I had coded that AssertSpecial on the fly during Giro's short Beta-testing stage, and I think I had typed out the second trigger and simply neglected to remove the first I had written :-[
