What video game twists do you LOVE? (or didn't see coming AT ALL!)

after you beat THUG1 once and re-beat it to get to Eric, he does his thing where he shows you the whole obstacle course that you have to beat him in to win the tape back and you just punch him in the face and take the tape from him and walk away.

Aeris/Aerith's death. I was shocked. I also didn't see the whole "Cloud is a Sephiroth clone... but he isn't!" side plot coming either, now that I think of it, although when you replay the game with the knowledge there's so many little hints here and there.

METAL GEAR SOLID has lots of twists, gags, and a storyline that is so confusing it should be considered a Holy Bible.

My favorite twist was THE Ending to MGS:3 Snake Eater. When you find out EVA is really a _____ and Ocelot was Ad*m working for the CIA!!!

XD yeah I always loved that, I also heard that the FIRST TIME you beat the game, if you beat it on Sick, then you just get that ending

Final Fantasy VII had too many plot twists.

Although the plot twists I generally hate in games are stuff like, your best friend is jealous of you and now he wants to kill you. An example is Lance from GTA:VC. Another plot twist I hate was in Star Wars Knights of the old republic, how you're a go from a guy in a jedi training camp, to realizing your some sith lord (like Darth Vader) that was brain washed into being a jedi trainee, and the person who brainwashed you betrays you and becomes the apprentice of your former apprentice as sith lord.

I mean that whole episode in Kotor was just unrealistic.
1. Wouldn't everybody in the Jedi Academy try to kill you because you used to be a sith lord, I mean come on, I doubt Darth Vader could walk into a Jedi Academy without a lightsaber being flinged at him.
2. The person that brainwashed you to join the light side gets tempted to join the darkside, I mean come on, you think that person would have a insane tolerance against dark temptations.

Silent Hill 2's constant plot twists with Maria getting killed by Pyramid Head (it happens more then once, the first time your like OMG, He killed Maria... That bastard, the second time your like... This is getting ridiculous) , and how you find out how his wife died. He killed her, and he knew the entire time.

at the end of battletoads the gayest ending ever was watching them get int he helicopter after all that hard crap i went through all i get to see them do is get in the frickin helicopter. i thought that it would have a memorable ending but no. oh and double dragon the guy that looks like me that i fought was my twin brtoher jimmy. at least he did get the girl at the end of it.

 The Keepers? The key to bringing back the Reapers? Didnt see that coming.

prince of persia 2 had an interesting twist. While u play through the game normally u see the guy in black and you wonder who it is to later find out that it is u cheating death by the dhaka by wearing thee mask of the wraith.
