now that you said it,i`m surprised you mentioned that Vince was not there,as iirc,he was the one who setup the storyline for flair`s retirement  o.O#
I agree on what Leon said,he is actually quite old to keep wrestling and he had endured a lot of things during his career, but it was best this one, giving him the respect he deserves for a long and hard working career... ^:)^
i couldn`t see raw,but from what i read at a live coverage,almost a tear came out
also I`m glad to see that Matt Hardy will be back in the ring soon...

Speaking of Matt Hardy it shocked me as to how much Matt Hardy did to Orton then Orton knocks him out with an RKO when his guard was dropped.Orton only Played Possom until the right moment and Won.That totally knocked the wind out of me.Now as for Ric Flair I understand. The man's old.I saw him wrestle since I was 5 and he still wrestled till yesterday. That's 15 years I've seen Ric Flair in the ring not to mention he was wrestling even before any of us were even born.So I understand. He had to do what he had to do.So If that's what Flair wants then I'm happy.
