I use a KORG Sampler, and a Sony Rack CD burner for mine. you could use a DVD burning program, and edit the video to just play the part of the DVD that has the sample you want, burn it to file, and then convert the video file to wav with a program like Auto MP3 Gold, or Cool Edit which will then eliminate the video part of it, and just leave the audio, but thats a lot more complex. For Video games I dont know how youd do it other than to audio out into a recording device.

If it's a Playstation or Playstation 2 game, the program "PSound" might work. It doesn't work for every game though (For example, I can't seem to get the voices from Ehrgeiz out with it.)

A lot of people (myself included) often take the audio out of YouTube clips of their favorite shows.

This maybe your best bet. If you download Cool Edit you can then edit the video to just play the segment you want, and then convert it to wav format leaving just the sound all done in 1 program. However you do need to download the Youtube Video, using Keep It video, or some other Youtube downloader.

If you dont have any luck let me know. Some Saturday, I could just bring my Sony over. We could have a toast, and burn some samples.
