Having a problem with my avatar...

I want to use an avatar for my profile and i made one using the template that acey provided. but whenever i try to upload it i get an error saying, The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved. Anyone know why this is happening?

you need to upload it somewhere else

Also make sure you save your finalized verison of your avatar as a PNG file, it's most commonly used for avatar displays... if you haven't figured it out already.

Well i finally got it, although it has a white background , what do u guys think?

well it looks nice but you need to remove that white background
