Mugen Keeps Closing On Me

Every time I select a character or I finish a battle, a error message comes up saying "Assert failure in charsel.c line 3612". Any help on how to fix this problem would be appreciated. Thanks!

you have 2 options:

you need to check all of ur characters .def files for this line:

pal.defaults = 1,2,3,4,5,6

if they don't have it just add it like this example:

[Info]
displayname ="char"
versiondate =04,14,2002
mugenversion =04,14,2002
pal.defaults =1,2,3,4

OR



Go into your Mugen.cfg and look look for this:

AI.RandomColor = 0

change the 0 to a 1
